Workshop – 1 : "Problems of interaction between Belarus universities and the EU countries with textile enterprises

On November 27, 2014 was held at Vitebsk State Technological University, the workshop "Problems of interaction between Belarus universities and the EU countries with textile enterprises".

The workshop was attended by the representatives of the project partners - VSTU, MSUF, Belarusian State Economic University, "Bellegprom" and textile enterprises and organizations, including JSC "Baranovichi Cotton Production Association", "JSC" Belfa ", JSC" Mogotex " JSC "Vitebsk Plant of silk fabrics", JSC "Vitebsk Carpets" , JSC "Polotsk Fiberglass", Center of research of Light Industry."

Total number of participants: 39 persons.

The program included the following presentations:

• "The role of UNITE project to improve the system of interaction between Belarusian universities and textile enterprises" (Ryklin D., VSTU),
• "Analysis of the needs of the enterprises producing chemical fibers in the professional development of employees" (Shcherbina L., MSUF),
• "Interaction between educational institutions and enterprises in the real sector of the economy as a form of strategic partnership" (Petrychenko E., BSEU),
• "Training of specialists in the field of textile technology and their employment characteristics in Lithuania" (Ragaisiene A., KTU).

The discussion on the interaction of higher educational institutions and enterprises also took place.
