Workshop 5 in Belarus
Workshop on the topic "Ways of improving the training system for textile and light industry" took place in Baranavichy on December 3, 2015.
The workshop was attended by 23 people including the representatives of JSC "Brest Carpets", JSC "Polesie", JSC "Baranovichi Sewing Factory”, Vitebsk State Technological University (VSTU), Mogilev State University of Food-Stuff (MGUP), Belarus State Economic University (BSEU), Baranovichi State University (BarSU), Kaunas University of Technology (KTU).
The workshop included presentations:
- State and prospects of training for the textile enterprises of the Republic of Belarus (VSTU);
- State and the problems of the organization of professional development for enterprises of textile and light industry (MGUP);
- Development of cooperation with enterprises of the textile industry in the preparation of specialists (MGUP);
- Improving the efficiency of supplementary education for adults through distance learning technologies (BarSU);
-Science, Education and Textiles in EU and Lithuania: Analysis and Perspectives (KTU);
- Directions of interaction by Belarus State Economic University with enterprises of the real sector of economy in the field of training (BSEU).
After hearing of the reports the discussion was organized on the problem issues.
The excursion for the participants of the workshop was organized to the RUE “Baranovichi Cotton Production Association" where they got acquainted with the manufacturing techniques of yarns and fabrics.
